Specializing as a floral designer and botanical artist, Julia works in floral couture. Building her reputation and expanding her portfolio through commissions for her breathtaking floral art in runway shoots and media campaigns, all while actively mentoring others, fostering growth within the industry.

The Memorial Day Flower
The Poppy

While beautiful and cheery, the history of the poppy is a woeful one. It has been used as a symbol to commemorate the millions of brave Americans who gave their lives defending the values our country was founded on. On September 27, 1920, The American Legion made the poppy its official flower to memorialize those who fought and died.

Princess Holly’s Hope
A peachy recognition

Alexandra Farms honors designer Holly Heider Chapple with a new variety of rose, Princess Holly’s Hope. Chappel selected this peachy cream rose as her signature garden rose when she visited Alexandra farms in early 2020. In her first encounters in the floral industry, Chappel fell in love with this beautifully full and resilient garden rose.
